After years of dreaming about this project, I’m so very excited to say that it’s finally going to launch this year with the assistance of Harvester Arts.  I’ve had a love for the old-style broadside sheet, the consumable art that is posted in public places and spaces, a truly democratic approach to expression that acknowledges that if work isn’t aimed at the ‘Every Man,’ it’s probably pretty irrelevant.

Don’t misunderstand me–I love beautiful poetry that expects the reader to work a little harder to understand.  How else can we see the world in new ways if the things we read don’t force us to grow?  On the other hand, poetry seems very obscure sometimes, as if only the very narrow and academic clientele deserve to read it.

I’m really hoping the art and poetry communities can come together to do some exciting things for our show in September.  Here are the details:
