The Wichita Broadside Project began in 2017. A series of artist and poet mixers were held, encouraging new collaborative opportunities. Partnerships and Teams formed, creating over 33 posters. Fifteen were selected for wide-circulation, and 600 prints were created and posted all over Wichita and, in some cases, across the country.
Some partnership functioned ekphrastically, with poets responded to artistic work. Some artists responded to poems already written. And some teams created entirely fresh work. For a sampling of work, visit:
